About Emergency Contact Code.com
Emergency Contact Code.com is an online service that allows our members to set up unique Codes and Emergency Medical Information Passwords for the purpose of having family, friends or doctors contacted by EMTs and Emergency Medical Personnel in case of emergency. The Emergency Contact Code service also stores emergency medical information in secure databases and uses "EMI passwords" to access current medication and medication allergy information. Only the EMI Cardholder and Emergency Medical Personnel have access to the secured information.

Information Collection and Use by Emergency Contact Code.com
Emergency Contact Code.com collects user submitted information such as name and email address, to send notifications to those users relating to Emergency Contact Code services.
Emergency Contact Code.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their "notification" setting to "Do not send me notification emails" in the user "Account Settings" area.
Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members
Emergency Contact Code affiliates can invite others in the Medical and Health Care fields to join the service by sending non-spam emails and may post Emergency Contact Code and EMI Card text links and graphic banners on their websites to promote the Service. Emergency Contact Code does not sell email addresses or use them to send any other communication not relating to the promotion of the EMI Card and Emergency Contact Code service.
Use of Cookies
Emergency Contact Code.com uses cookies to track affiliate sign ups for the purpose of keeping track of payments that are due affiliates. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set -- each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences -- however, you must enable cookies from Emergency Contact Code.com in order to use most functions on the site.

Correcting/Updating or Removing Information
Emergency Contact Code.com users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as Update Profile and Account Info.
Email Choice/Opt-out
Members who no longer wish to receive updates, notifications or Emergency Contact Code newsletters, may choose not to by selecting 'Do not send me notification emails or newsletters' in the user profile 'Account Settings'. All notification emails and Emergency Contact Code.com newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.
Third Party Advertising
Ads appearing on this Web site may be delivered to users by Emergency Contact Code.com. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement.
